Healing comes from within.

You’ve been feeling sad, angry, tired, lack motivation to do anything, and feeling overwhelmed and worried about things that you can’t control. Relationship problems, partner infidelity and/or their secret sexual behaviors have you doubting yourself and questioning if you are good enough or worthy of love. Recently, painful memories and feelings from you past have been intruding into your thoughts and causing you to feel anxious.

You have tried working though it on your own but things just don’t seem to be improving.

Those old coping strategies aren’t working and it’s time for a change.

How I can help.

I work with adults who are struggling in their daily life, whether it’s from relational or past trauma, relationship problems, betrayal/infidelity, anxiety, depression, grief or other life stressors that feel to big to overcome alone. Together we can work to repair and heal old wounds, build communication skills that will help foster and maintain strong relationships, while also working to strengthen inner resources to manage life’s stressors more effectively and create a more balanced and whole hearted life.

Have you recently experienced something that opened a window to memories from your past, and now emotions and reactions you thought you had overcome are showing up again in the present. These triggers can stir up old wounds, causing distress and unease in your daily life. It can be challenging to navigate through these intense feelings and find a sense of stability amidst the turbulence.

Trauma can leave a profound impact, lingering beneath the surface and influencing how we respond to current events and relationships. The emotional weight of betrayal, infidelity, relational/attachment issues and past traumatic experiences can become overwhelming, making it difficult to cope with everyday challenges.

Anxiety looks different for everyone. Sometimes it's like a whirlwind of emotions and sensations. Your heart starts racing, and you feel as though you can't catch your breath. Other times it may feel like your palms are sweaty, and your body may tremble with restlessness. Emotionally, you may find yourself constantly worrying, fearing the worst, and feeling like something terrible is about to happen. It's tough to focus on anything else, and you often feel on edge and irritable. At night, your mind races, and you struggle to fall asleep. Sometimes, you even try to avoid situations that trigger your anxiety, which can be challenging and isolating.

Discovering a partner's infidelity or secret sexual behaviors such as porn addiction causes deep betrayal trauma, shattering trust and emotional security. This betrayal leads to intense pain, confusion, and a sense of violation, impacting the betrayed partner's mental health and self-worth. Symptoms can include anxiety, depression, and PTSD, making it hard to trust others. The betrayed partner often questions the relationship's authenticity and their own judgment. Healing requires time, support, and often professional help to rebuild trust and emotional stability. Understanding the impact of betrayal trauma is crucial for recovery and healing.

Depression symptoms can manifest in various ways, affecting individuals differently. Common signs include increased anger and irritability, feeling persistently sad, hopeless, or empty. People with depression may experience changes in sleep patterns, either sleeping too much or struggling with insomnia. They might lose interest in activities they once enjoyed and have difficulty concentrating or making decisions. Physical symptoms like fatigue, changes in appetite, or unexplained aches and pains can also be present. Some individuals may withdraw from social interactions, experiencing feelings of worthlessness or guilt. In severe cases, thoughts of self-harm or suicide may arise.
